How far apart will you get in the classic Water Balloon Toss?

Things You’ll Need

• Water Balloons - one for each team of 2
• Teams of 2 people each

Setting Up the Game

Have the players line up in two lines, facing their team member. The lines should be two arm lengths apart (have the players reach out and touch their hands to measure the distance).

Hand everyone on one side a water balloon.

Playing the Game

On your mark, the player must toss the balloon to their teammate. The teammate should catch the balloon. If the balloon doesn’t break, the team can continue playing. So even if it is dropped, if it doesn’t break, the team is still in the game. If the balloon breaks, that team is out!

Every time the balloon is caught the player that caught the balloon takes a step back.

On your mark again, the player tosses the balloon back to their teammate and the play continues.

The winning team is the team who has the last unbroken balloon!
