English Rose Cocktail

The English Rose Cocktail is a sweet martini because it combines apricot brandy and grenadine with the gin. 

Hand this one to your lady along with a real English Rose and see how you get rewarded!

Ingredients

• 3/4 oz apricot brandy
• 1 1/2 oz gin
• 3/4 oz dry vermouth
• 1 tsp grenadine syrup
• 1/4 tsp lemon juice
• 1 cherry (garnish)
• powdered sugar

Directions

Rub rim of martini glass with lemon juice and dip rim of glass in powdered sugar.

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add all ingredients (except cherry). Shake it, shake it, shake it. Strain into sugar-rimmed glass.

Garnish with the cherry.

The following measurements are equal:
1 oz = 30ml = 1 tot = 1 shot = 3cl
