Drinking Game Rules

Drinking game rules are standard in games like Kings, Circle of Death, Drinking Jenga, Asshole or any other game where players can make up rules! While we’re sure you have your favorite rules, we thought we’d share ours.

Rule-making rules are as follows: The player makes a rule that must be followed for the rest of the game. Anyone who breaks the rule drinks. Rules have to apply to everyone and it is perfectly fair to make a rule that repeals a rule already in effect.

And now for the drinking rule ideas

• No swearing
• The 3 Ds: No one can say drink, drank, or drunk
• Players must drink with their non-dominant hands
• No one can be referred to by their first name
• Sing your school anthem before social drinks
• Assign someone as earmaster - same rules as thumbmaster but with your ear instead!
• Pick a drinking partner (someone that must drink when you drink)

These rules apply before a player takes a drink, either in the game or voluntary.

• Exclaim "I love (fill in the blank) !" It can be someone’s name, your favorite team, something embarrassing, or anything else your fabulous mind dreams up!
• Tap the top of their head with their hand or their beer
• Say any phrase you can think up
• Hoot like an owl
• Tap their drink on the table
• Kiss their drink
• High 5 the person next to them
• Stand up
• Kiss their drink
