It's high time to bring back the fun of Donkey Kong, Pac-Man, Astroids, Burger Time, Mario, Zelda, Duck Hunt and all your other favorite 80s Arcade Games! It's legendary because it is so super focused and your friends will love it!

1980s Theme Party Invitations

Sadly, the invitations people haven't caught on to the awesome-ness of this party idea. I did find one but you can always design your own invitations and upload them at VistaPrint.com

Be sure to add on the invitations that you expect people to dress up!

80s Arcade Party Decorations

Decorate with tetris blocks, asteroids (use Styrofoam and spray paint to make these), Donkey Kong ladders, Pac-Man ghosts and other visuals from your favorite video games.

Games & Activities

There are SO many great games you could play at this party! Just think of how to adapt your fav arcade games into real life!

Duck Hunt

Grab yourself a laser tag set and have your friends go head to head tourney style. Need a bracket? Here’s our free single elimination tournament bracket.

Save Zelda

Create a treasure hunt with clues to find the three triforce pieces with a princess Zelda (doll or cute girl dressed as Zelda) waiting at the end.

Costume Contest

Seriously, you must have a costume contest.

Collect the Coins

As a tribute to Mario, hide fake coins all around your party. Tell your guests that whoever finds the most by a certain time wins!

80’s Arcade Trivia

Make sure your friends studied!! Here’s the 80’s Arcade Trivia!

80s Party Drinks

Bust out the Zima and don’t forget to add Jolly Ranchers! Also bring back Purple Passion and your finest wine coolers. Aww, isn’t that fun?

And for your beer drinkers, put a sign on your keg that says “Donkey Kong’s Keg”

Arcade Party Food

Keep with the theme easily with Burger Time Burgers! But you don’t have to stop there. There are SO many ways to rename some great party dishes to make them match this 1980’s Party Theme! Make little signs so your guests know what they're eating!

Frog legs become Frogger Legs
Mushroom caps become Mario Mushrooms
Fresh fruit becomes Pac-Man Fruit
Duck dishes become Duck Hunt Kill

Tetris cookies are yummy!
